Is it really that good? Seems more like a money grab to me. It's still available over here (Europe) but I find it fairly expensive compared to Cognac from smaller, more unknown houses.

If it's anything like the prior master blends, then its nothing special. Similar to the GOT bottlings of scotch.

That JW bottle is so heavy. Weighs in at 4.6 lbs.

Really happy with the HP Viking Soul Cask, 1 of 58 bottles. Some nice independent bottlings also. The Nikka Session might be the easiest drinking whisky I ever had.

Now I really need to calm down or buy another cabinet.

Sweet oakey on the nose. Though it would be buttery sweet and smooth but no. Got some spice to it and it smacks you in the face a bit.
