What car would you buy if you knew how to drive a car with manual transmission.

Alright, I guess you can see where i'm getting at. It's STUPID simple! I'm not sure why people are intimidated to learn.

Uhh were talking manual not auto here. Manual is pretty simple but it takes awhile to get a feel for the clutch and smoothly transition from gear to gear. Then there's down shifting and other techniques to be learned. It's a simple concept but the execution takes some practice to get right.

people who can't drive stick. It's not that hard.

What are the benefits of driving stick shift?

usually, they are cheaper than their automatic counterparts.

better gas mileage.

statisics say that manual transmission cars do not get stolen as often as automatics.

i am one of the few people i know that has never owned an automatic, and all i've ever driven has been manuals. i even took my drivers test in a manual transmission car.

my first car was a 1982 Toyota Carolla 5 speed manual
then an '86 Honda Civic Si 5 speed manual
a 1996 Honda Civic DX 5 speed manual
2002 Honda Civic Si 5 speed manual
and my current car is a 2007 Honda Civic Si 6 speed manual

You still have to know about RPMs and how to not stress your engine too much.

Son, I learned that part playing Gran Turismo.

I just don't like dealing with the actual foot clutch pedal. The actual shifting and RPM monitoring is not what bothers me...hell you can hear that.

Yeah, I feel you. Pedal is more personal though.

This is my car now and it's manual transmission.  My friend had to drive it home when I bought it.

Once I learned, I never looked back.

Wait... why would I be talking about auto? I'm just saying the same concepts of just moving the shifter and pressing on the gas/brakes is the same as pressing on the clutch and changing gears.

at someone saying it takes years to learn. I learned when I was only 14, took me 30 minutes. I bolded the word "simple" because it's all that matters in your post. It's simple, point blank!
