I understand what you are trying to say. But we live in America and Uggs are women's clothing in America. There is no mistaking that. But I guess your point here is men shouldn't be afraid to express themselves even if it crosses the imaginary lines of gender exclusivity?
But my question is where do you stop? If there is a new fad that has American men wearing short skirts would you refer to Scotland males wearing kilts as a justification? I just want to know if there is a such thing as too far for you.

I'm just saying that Uggs were originally made for men (specifically Aviators in WW1) ... only recently did it become a "woman" thing I suppose.
Skirts ... manbags ... ok. But we're talking about warm boots here.

But does it not matter the usage current state of a product? If we are only going to use items for what they were originally made for them we can make the statement that black women perm their hair to be like white women. I mean since that was the ORIGINAL usage of relaxers.
My point is just because something HAD a certain usage doesn't mean it is justified to use it for that reason long after that original reason has been dead.
So you can honestly tell us that in 2010, Uggs are NOT a female's piece of clothing in the USA? And you are subscribing to the idea that it is fine for a MAN to wear this product?
