guys i need help remembering the name of the eat all you can place na meron sa the podium and along katipunan... kublai ba or whatever? i miss that joint ever since i moved here sa US... :\

wow! i've never heard of ma mon luk for so many years now. i remember my dad would take me at quezon blvd in quiapo when i was young for some siopao. scared the hell out me when my playmates said the filling was made up of pusa

They still serve good siopao and mami.. but for me, Kowloon West rivals their siopao and more chinese resto can rival their mami now...

Jonas at Retiro.. they are now expanding and have branches in some Robinsons malls... like Robinsons Pioneer in EDSA..

when we're talking about siopao and mami... nobody beats ling nam... the og store in binondo! especially when after eating your mami, and you see little bugs in the bottom of your soup! secret ingrediet man!!!
 
Just got back from an almost 2 month stay there in the Philippines.

I'd recommend

Orgy - Drew's (Katipunan) One of the best drinks ever plus you can't go wrong with the price and their serving.

Special Chelos Kebab w/ rice - Mister Kebab

Charbroiled Burgers in BF Paranaque and Alabang. (I'm not sure if they have other branches around north) Nice big, fat, juicy burgers (think Brother's or Hotshots) with a semi-McDo price! (Something like P75-90 for a premium burger alone!)

Their shawarma also tastes great! Fries are so-so.
