Looking to buy a 55" or 60" LED for my new place. My budget is around $2000. I really don't know much about TV's and everytime I try to do research online, I just end up confusing myself. Going to be using it for gaming as well. I read somewhere that larger TVs may cause lag when playing video games, not sure if there is any truth to that or if the following televisions will have these problems. I'm trying to decide between the following 3 but feel free to make more suggestions.

RFX - Thanks for the suggestion, price point is good. I'd really prefer a 60" over a 55", though a 55" is doable. I'll definitely keep it on my list. a55a5 - I'm planning on staying away from plasma simply because of the horror stories everyone has heard about image retention and burn-in-- though I'm not sure if they are still an issue in the latest plasmas.

This,

My pops always thought that Sony was the best brand but seriously not that good.

Bought 2 Samsung TV's since, Definitely worth it.

With the newer plasma tvs you don't have to worry about burn in and image retention. It was true when they first came out but with the newer ones its something you don't have to worry about.
