homie i dunno bout where u live but in NY barber shops got SET PRICES, no matter wat u get done.

Yall crazy. I'm in NYC and I remember when all haircuts were $10 or less. I dunno but around 2 years ago prices done skyrocketed to $12-15. I notice a lotof barbers are doing extra !$$* like it counts too. Taking out the razor, spraying water on ya hairline, charging for shaping up ya beard, etc.

To think I was getting all that in college for $4 and these were them fresh cuts mayne

I'm black btw

Asian here. I just got my hair cut/ shampooed today for $20 including tip. I have long hair, so it's worth paying a little more to get a good cut.

@ Trying to rationalize a $60. Go somewhere man

I go to a salon, $14 for my haircut. I give her a $20 every time so its a $6 tip for her. I go about every 3 weeks

Cut it myself. Haven't paid in a long time. I never knew what it was called, I just wanted it short.

Taper. Fade. Taper-fade? I dunno, but I probably screw it up every couple of cuts.

20 bucks whenever it starts to piss me off. that usually about every month or so

nearly every asian i know has an aunt who will do it for free. mine sucks though, no offense to her

why are us asians being categorized with the white folks?

our hair texture is different.

took me forever to find the right white barber to cut my hair.

I was paying 15. 12 dollar cut. 3 dollar tip.

No rationalizing here. I've got long, straight Asianhair that only looks right when cut by other Asians. I'm not getting a shape up or anything like that. I actually like having hair

. I specifically looked around for places that don't use electric clipperssince I hate that unnaturally "clean" look. While $60 is a bit more than others are paying on a per trip basis, keep in mind I go every two months.Sometimes I go longer than two months if I want to grow my hair out even longer. You have some folks here getting shape ups every week for $10~

I usually go every month or so depending on how long I want it. Its usually no more than like 13-14 bucks with a tip. Its been about 3 months right now though.Getting my shag on
