I don't know, but I've come to notice when people who pursue a career in a "blue collar" Job, people tend to look down upon it. I don't understand why is that the case even if they have a degree of some sort?
Why do people look down on people who do "blue collar" jobs?

The rhetoric brought upon to you starting when your a child, that their supposedly is a correlation between blue collar jobs and an untapped potential. Any rational, open, and self reflecting adult will refute any sort of claim.

Everybody who i know who is an electrician, or in construction, or does CDL truck driving makes way more than all da office dwellers i know...only 1 person i know who makes more than that is in finance & he's a 200k a year.

I'm blue collar .i work with my hands everyday and I'm proud of ever cut scrape burn I get . I love seeing the finished product of whatever I'm building.

people associate blue collar jobs with unskilled labor I guess. I associate white collar jobs with a lot of sitting and wasting time/ company money in meetings about nothing. It goes both ways.
