Why do people post for later?

Only one I kinda understood is when they're posting from their phone and they're in a thread where they can't see a vid or pic or something. So they click their profile to see what threads they posted in when they get home.

I never knew ppl actually did that tho. That recent thread list on your profile needs to be longer or we need a "See all posts _____ user" option.

Well, it's obviously not that big of a deal but to me it seems like a waste of space and time and also dilutes NT. If everyone does this, then you have to see endless "posting for later" replies in any good thread. Why not bookmark it or actually dare I say it, write something constructive or creative.

I simply to do it, because:

1.) I know there's not enough time.
2.) In a public area (library, lounge, etc.).

I have used the "posting for later" line, but thats only because my job p.c. doesnt allow me to view 99% of the videos & pics that are here on NT.  In addition to that, I have class after work, and after a long day you hardly remember a thread.  But as soon as I sign on to NT I see all the topics I last posted in which acts sort of like a reminder + bookmark to what I was planning on viewing later.

Note:  I have only said "posting for later" maybe once or twice, I'm not an avid user of that approach, as most of the time I just forget whatever it was on NT that I wanted to recall and find it maybe days later.

Seems like clutter and I don't think people will be able to do this for much longer. There will probably be an option to star or flag a post in the future.
