I still have trouble understanding our health care system
How do you cure hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and coronary artery disease? Lifestyle modifications, right? Now how many patients make the necessary modifications to get to better health? They make more money treating illness rather than curing it. That's what I don't

Now tell me why it's ok for hospitals to make MILIONS in PROFIT while bankrupting their "patients."It costs money to provide health care. Your MRI cannot be free of cost to you. Hospitals have to make money or they can't stay in business.
It's hard to find good statistics on this, but there are plenty of hospitals operating in the red. And for instance, the academic hospitals operating in the black use that money to fund advances at the school and health system. Now tell me why it's ok for hospitals to make MILIONS in PROFIT while bankrupting their "patients."
Healthcare should be an attempt to break even. Period.
Canada ftw.
Man you guys got it rough.
America is the most corrupt country in the world, bar none.

I find it appalling that you want the awful care that comes with universal health care.I just find it appalling that 30 other countries have universal health care, but we being one of the richest nations don't...
Being a product of military parents I truly miss this. I would pay a higher premium if I could still use base hospitals. Almost conisdered joining for solely this reason. I miss that military lifeOne of the perks for being in the military. I know military life has drawbacks but knowing i can go to the doctor/hospital for any reason and not pay a dime is ok with me
motherf'n PREACH.......probably one of the reasons im gonna stay in
