Exactly.

Since it was dealing with larger social issues a move wasn't really necessary either.

what's wrong with wayne? can't say i'm a fan, but dude seems to really enjoy what he does, and does it the way he wants to, not alabel crony. Like him or not, in today's music, how can you not appreciate that?

Yesterday dudes had multiple threads with porno pics on the first page open for the whole day....an intelligent discussion about a real issue gets locked inminutes.

Plus the OP in the last thread explained his avy and how it contradicted what he was saying in his post....

i cant front on that haze.

A fair number or people criticize The Clipse for their repetitive subject matter.

But behind all that, they have a message in every album and their lyricism is top notch.

But no one is saying that gangsta rap doesn't have a place in Hip-Hop...its part of reality.

But it is not the entire reality. Why would you be mad that people want variety and realistic expression and artistry in their music....like there has alwaysbeen.

You arguing for ignorance and stagnation...don't make sense to me.

BUT, dont take my ignorant rap away because of a few knuckleheads inthe world.

Nah I don't think any one is calling for Hell Rell and em to disappear....You got real street cats coming out of jail and off the streets that ain'trefined or educated and they just trying to make a better life for themselves, spitting about what they know....but why is that the only thing being offered tothe mainstream listener, feed to our children, played over public airwaves and given as a representation of our culture and race?

Thats a problem.

In the year that New York had thousands of murders, 7 bodies for each 100,000 residents...Hip-Hop was at it peak. There was music about the PTA, uniqueself-expression, funky jazz type stuff, real G music from real Gz, etc....now homicide and crime rates are at their lowest in many major cities and theignorance and gunplay is at an all time high. We're being pimped.
