I'm not kidding.
I would have done it at a sporting event, like have someone post it on the jumbo-tron. Or put the ring in a champagne glass at a fancy restaurant. Or baked the ring inside a cupcake. Or have an airplane fly over your house tailing the question.. but all of those have been done before.
