What's up NT.. Needed some help with a work situation. New dude started at my work and is Wildin out.. Tells inappropriate jokes in the office, is creepin out the female employees acts unprofessional and worst of all dude is my cubical neighbor. How do I handle this situation??

Just ignore dudes presence?? Bring up his conduct to MGMT?? I don't want to associate myself with this dude I'm tryin to get promoted..

I would def go talk to my manager not like your snitchiing or anything but if its the corporate world then thats what you have to do

I say give it some time. He'll get himself fired.

Stick to your work, be a man about it. You should only speak to mgmt. if he impacts your work in some way where the quality is declining.

If you see your homegirl at your job getting disrespected and she can't stand up for yourself then do your thing as a man. BUT DON'T gossip about the cat with others.

If he becomes a problem, def handle it.

Have a one-on-one with him and tell him for his own good his behavior will get him terminated, you've seen it happen before. If he still doesn't get it then forget about it and rest easy until he meets his fate. You tried so at least you won't get shot up.

Headphones on all day

Like Grimlock said ride it out a bit depending on how long it has already been.

Talk to him first. Just tell him straight up.

His last job may have been lax like that, so he may not know you all are having a problem with his behavior.

Sounds like he'll take care of it for you :lol

But yea ride it out and see if dude calms down, and like mentioned above if it's not directly affecting you then don't sweat it right now. Plus, i'm sure once you speak up they'll let you know that others have already come forward too :lol

things like sexual harassment and acting inappropriately is no joke in the workplace these days. talk to your manager first. it's not snitching. if people can't be comfortable in the workplace, then people can't be productive / can't do their jobs.

if your manager can't / won't do anything then give HR a call.

All that matters.

All of this

talk to the dude first so that you could say you took initiative. If it doesn't change then go to management. If he does change he will owe you a solid. This is how you get promoted, not by running to mgmt first. Handle what you can first.

Bring up his conduct to MGMT??
i doubt they can help you..

What exactly is he doing that is hurting you so much that you had to make a thread about it? Like someone up there said, throw your headphones on

Anonymous letter to management. In feminine handwriting, but better than Beyoncé' s handwriting.

i dont understand why anyone is giving advice to OP to go talk to the guy unless this newidiot is directly affecting him. Let dude crash and burn on his own. Its not your problem to save or fix him.
