why do so many fathers stay over there? i have a few friends whose fathers bounce right after they graduated HS

last cab driver was nigerian and he told me his wife was sill over there.....i asked how long ago since he came here and he said 15 years

dunno if that's common or even true, he said it was due to $$ issues that she hasn't been able to come to the us.

he might've just been trying to make me feel bad and give him a nice tip ..... if so it worked, but i mean it was xmas eve cmon.

I see what you mean when it comes to comparing wages in a developed country to a developing country. But, in developing countries, they have to make ends meetmore than we do. For example, if we want to take Egypt's middle class, they are poorer when you measure it in terms of its purchasing power. Egypt importsmost of its food and other basic needs, and the flotation of the Egyptian pound, as well as the prominent industries being concentrated in the hands of a few,have generated a drastic inflation. The middle class is also greatly affected by the poverty that is rampant in Egypt. Those who are in the middle class haveextremely small chances of social advancement, and even a bigger chance instead of going down the social class ladder and becoming more poor. Take intoconsideration factors such as ineffective and poor education system, the low level skills of middle class Egyptians which they tend to not improve upon,ineffective infrastructure and transportation, bad health and insurance systems, the Egyptian government with its poor governance, corruption and its horribleregulation of its economic market and ineffective and inefficient social provision, as well as the problems with the Egyptian currency with flotation andinflation which are mismatched compared to increases in wages -- makes it all the more worse for the Egyptian middle class.

There's a few reasons for that. Most of the time the mothers stay with the kids and the fathers go to make the money. You gotta remember inAfrica polygamy is only just outdated lol. All these old men with money and families usually have a few girlfriends. Many Africans don't come to Americalooking for a "better life." They come for an education and then go back home.

True, a lot of people that my dad knows go back after they get a degree.
