Wrestling Thread Dec 31-Jan 13 | 1/13 TNA Genesis PPV |

Please give me some time to compile all of the new member info and 2013 predictions.  I have another crazy week of work coming up (actually, the next three weeks... I'm traveling to Detroit from Jan 20-31).  I will do my best to get them all listed at some point this week.

There will be a new wrestling thread tomorrow for the 20th anniversary of Raw.

Tensai been jobbing to Jamie Noble at house shows apparently.

Dude needs to just go back to NJPW.

I watched The Backyard.

It is one of the saddest, most pathetic things I've ever seen in my life.

Real Name - Victor
Birth Date (before we did age, but birth date makes more sense) - June 1
Location - NYC
Favorite Live Event Attended - In Your House 10 '96 in Philly. As well as the last 2 TLC PPVs in Baltimore and Brooklyn I attended
All Time Favorite Wrestler(s) (3 or less) - Stone Cold, Bret Hart, Jericho
Current Favorite Wrestler(s) (3 or less) - CM Punk, Ziggler
Other (Random wrestling info about you - please don't write a book) - When I was younger in middle school I broke my finger and had a cast up to my elbow I got The Rock to sign it when he came to Philly for an appearance. I used to have 2 storage bins full of wrestlers, rings, toys, etc. and even entrance music CDs when I was younger. I was also lucky enough to experience The World (WWF in Times Square) when I was younger as well.

Predictions:
Punk retains through Elimination Chamber
Ziggler successfully cashes in
Ziggler wins MITB again
Cesaro wins the IC or World Championship (old WCW belt) this year
Cena's next T-Shirt color will be blue or yellow
Mark Henry will return at Royal Rumble
HHH puts himself on the WrestleMania card
Punk defeats Rock in their first match (if they have multiple in a year)

Name: AJ

First Live Event: Randomly got free tix to Raw 10/29/10. Hadn't consistently watched since '04ish. I think there was a KOTR tournament that night. I know I heard Sheamus' music a lot. So. Many. ******g. Limes.

Top 3: Austin, Angle, Jericho (sorry, RVD)

Currents: CM Punk, I want to say Ziggler but they treat him like an eternal *****, so I'll name Cesaro as my alternate.

WWF kid since the Rock was still wearing $500 shirts and looking like a blackish Elvis. My sister still flinches when she hears the word "Sharpshooter".

I've been in and out of wrestling since like '04, and I really don't think I missed all that much. I do feel like I would've liked Muhammad Hassan and John Morrison tho. I also hate Edge's spear. CM Punk and the Shield are pretty much keeping me watching at this point.

I'm a closet mark. I barely tell anyone I still watch because the **** has become embarrassingly trash sometimes (my Netflix queue sniiches on me to my GF tho), but I've been back into it for real since about RR last year. I lurk this thread pretty much every week and recently decided I'm gonna participate more since it seems like a lot of fun.

Predictions:
Cena will not lose clean to a full-time roster member.
Brodus Clay will finally drop that Funkasaurus ******itude.
We get a real belt at some point and not this giant class ring from Marky Mark University.
CM Punk will continue to be disrespected.
The Streak ends this year. It shouldn't, but that never stopped them before.
Kane will retire. (please? I want to imagine him as mask-and-flaming-tank-top Kane again and this double-masked impostor)
The Cruiserweight Division comes back.
King retires. (Please? No further explanation needed.)
The IC title is pushed as more important. Has to, main event scene is too crowded.
We will get one more epic JR soundbite.

...guess that's it. Hi guys.

I know I'm late as **** but the back and forth between The Rock and Punk last week was great. The pieces Punk did on SmackDown was great to.This should be a nice feud. :hat

Welcome, captNaj PhD. I'm going to call you "Capt" from now on. You have no choice in the matter.

You'll be good as long as you don't associate with the riffraff in this thread. Peep and GHIMS, I'm talking about you :{

Club....

You were made to be a heel. You're like Niketalk's Randy Orton.

Stale as a face. Great as a heel. And on your last strike with the wellness policy.

You know Meth is itching to wish you the best on your future endeavors
