It's live for PS4 now and XB1 I think starts tomorrow if you had beta codes.
It's an open Beta I think on Friday maybe or even Thursday.

It was GwG at a point. I'll download to see the graphical differences, but probably won't bother playing it again.

I know a video has been posted here about it, but I really can't tell when playing. Hit detection or the BR spread was always iffy on Halo 3.

IF U DONT RECOGNIZE THAT THE HIT DETECTION IS OFF ON HALO 3 MCC THEN YOU DIDNT PLAY HALO 3 IN ITS HEYDAY. ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE.

I don't really remember, but the issues I have with MCC isn't hit detection.
Day 1 Halo 3 owner, Level 46 in Lone Wolves was my peak.

As true as this was, MCC took it to a whole other level. The whole game is nonsense from a connection standpoint.
MCC made this a thing.
The Hit detection matters less to me than other stuff like the lack of party restrictions which makes playing Ranked pointless, the fact that 343 messed up all the spawns, and the aiming still slides in H3. Just simple stuff like that that could make this game better especially the party matching.
Not having party matching in ranked makes absolutely NO sense.
