imo what makes the qasa hi great and what makes the shape is the neoprene. 

i don't like the leather base it's too stiff. 

the all all white qasas have the leather base and it just doesnt feel or look as good as my other neoprene qasas

I'll reserve judgement until I can hold them in hand. The leather on these blacks looks like a totally different material than the leather used on the whites, much softer.

This right here 100%. I've always said the neoprene makes the shoe. I've never tried the leather ones but from what i'm reading doesn't sound too good. 

As for the TB Qasa, None of them are as good as the OG's IMO even if its just the leather toe.

I think one of the biggest "ingredient" for a shoe to be hyped or not is dependent on whether any "influential" personnel are wearing it or not.

If Lorenzo wore the black initially, the one selling out now will be black instead of white.

Even though, I do agree white is nicer.

I've never seen a Y-3 shoe have resale value like the white/black ZG Knits. I doubt these white ones will be nearly as hyped up, they're definitely nice but it's just not as eye catching of a colorway. Also the silhouette looks slightly less dope w/ the new changes.
