I don't see how songs from the albums of Jay-Z, Kanye West, 50 Cent, and people like that, get leaked so quickly and so often, yet for an artist just as in demand like Alicia Keys, we have only heard one song from her upcoming album and it drops in less than a month. I'm fiending for some new Alicia Keys music.

Beat05 has a very good point that^ doesnt explain why r&b and some other genre albums dont have such serious leaking problems

It cant be cuz they are not in demand look at Justin Timberlake

Im begining to think hip hop as a whole in the point of view from the sheep of the mainsteam arent feeling hip hop music anymore

Britney Spears' whole album basically leaked on radio stations. Fiona Apple had to re-do her whole album due to leaks. The White Stripes lost it because Icky Thump was being played on radio stations. Timberlake's album was available a couple weeks early just like Jay's will be, but he was going to do numbers regardless. The New Pornographers "Challengers" was out way early. As for John Mayer, he sucks, so I don't know what to tell you.

The real question is, do you even follow other genres enough to know if stuff is being leaked?

^ Yea cuz I dont buy albums but half the ppl you mentioned except The White Stripes I dont listen to

Lets just say the music I listen to outside of hip hop seems to not leak or maybe Im not lookin hard enuff but im still standing by what I said and you didnt name any R&b artists but maybe you dont listen to that genre
