watching nfl network's top 10 myths and one of them was you have to establish the run to open up the passing game. what do you think, myth or is it true?

You can use the run to set up the pass, or the pass to set up the run. Either way I think you need both to be a successful team. Yes there are a few exceptionsto every rule, but I think you need both.

Also Archie Manning threw for 21,374 yards in 11 seasons with the New Orleans saints. Only twice did he have a running back go for more than 1,000 yards in aseason.

Its true if you dont have a superstar QB. So for Peyton, Brees and Brady you dont need a running game to open up the passing game. For everyone else, it is100% true.
