Music is subjective breh, that fab tape is straight, there are 50 mixtapes I'd rather listen to.

Frank Ocean, The Weeknd and so on aren't really mixtapes. Those are just free albums. Like the Dream said, they're not mixtapes they're just free albums.

This is extremely difficult especially considering the evolving mixtape game. Going back a few years we have full tapes of beat jackings and now we get full album quality original music (with the ability to sample anything because you're not selling) and no need for DJs.

With that being said some of my favorites in recent years:
