Awesome photos, man. Costa Rica was fun.
Did you happen to visit the Arenal area an see the volcanos?

No because it was a three hour drive. I stayed at the Península Papagayo - every thing person needed was there. This private area is so huge - from the entrance gate to the house it took 15 mins to drive

Anybody familiar with Bogota, Colombia? Specifically, I'm curious if Bogota International Center is a section of the city worth booking an apartment for 10 days.

It's a little further from Zona T/Zona Rosa than I'd like but there's this penthouse on Airbnb that's looking at me like it wants something.

If the bars and nightlife in adjacent neighborhoods like La Candelaria to the south and southern Chapinero to the north are good, then I'd be fine staying in the financial district 15 minutes from the main club scene up in Zona T.

Mexico City is also one of my favorite cities in the world for food and culture.
Could you share more on the nightlife? I've been 3x and found the nightlife to be boring. I say that because the country tends to listen to their own music which is latin rock, they really don't play turnt up music such as hip-hop, reggaeton & reggae. The clubs in Polanco are very pretentious and the bars tend to overcharge anyone that looks like a tourist.
Outside of that, Mexico City rocks, especially Dia de Los Muertos week, Limosneros restaurant and the amazing museums.

Yea Polanco pretty synonymous with pretentious, but that hasn't been my experience going out in Roma or Condesa. Pretty cheap and super accessible, everyone was really friendly too.

The last two times I was there I had a friend who was local or friends of a friend showing me around, I definitely wasn't mad at the music. Not a lot of reggaeton from what I remember but I went to some dope spots that played either house or hip-hop.

My wife and I will be going to Jamaica in April. I’m looking forward to it because I’ve never been. I hope I can remember to take pics. I never think to or will feel weird about it usually.

So making a quick trip to Tampa area in a few weeks.... booked flights and a VRBO, only for the owner to email us back and say that the place is not actually available (thanks for keeping your calendar updated, bish).

So... any tips on where to stay? I grew up going to that area, and the VRBO that we booked was on Lido Key. Now there are like no other places close to the water that are still available. Might have to just get something a few miles inland and drive to the beach every day.

Sending my seed off to Rome for spring break - have to see if I can make it...

on my way to New Orleans

check St. Pete/Clearwater. Lido Key is kinda far south and not as many places to stay down that way

and depending on what else you're looking to do, easier to get into to Tampa from St. Pete/Clearwater

I prefer St. Pete beach to Clearwater beach. Also, Indian Rocks is a very low key beach close to Clearwater

A friend and I are driving to Charleston, SC this summer. I've been there once, but only for a couple of days. Any recommended areas to stay and places to see/eat would be appreciated.

Scheduled for Tokyo, Japan in 2 weeks, now I'm unsure due to the Coronavirus.

Just returned from Casa De Campo resort in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Had a wonderful time and met a former US President over dinner.

Did Disc shooting.

Yea we looked at Lido just for something new, as we've already done most of the other areas closer to Tampa. My grandparents had a condo in Treasure Island, which is between Madeira Beach and St. Pete Beach. We were originally looking at Siesta Key area, but now everything is gone.

Prob gonna have to skip finding a place close to the water.

yooooooo i need some recommendations on things to do and places to eat in Memphis

going to surprise my fiance's best friend for her 30th

I have a 24 hour layover Instanbul from Rome - Problem is that I land at 3:30 - so for me to do anything I might miss most of it. Free stuff of course
