Where's the best place for a one week vacation? I know the further you go, the more time you need.
Where do you live? Any city would be a good place to go where you would need some time to see it all. New York comes to mind and even Chicago to a degree. You can even do SF but perhaps break it up out here and do like SF, Napa, Yosemite, Tahoe, etc.

I'm curious about this as well. I have a week long virtual training that I'm doing next month and would like to go out of town for some days.

Not too expensive of course either.

For a week that doesn’t have a long flight...

Depends on what you’re trying to do...

Go do the Hike to Machu Picchu in Peru
Go to Costa Rica for surfing, diving and Rain Forrest tour
Iceland - Golden Circle
Panama
Cuba

Does anyone have recommendation on traveling from Rome to Amalfi coast?

Taking my daughter on a Spring break trip in for a week. I don’t think we want to stay the entire time in one location.

NYC. Thinking about doing a domestic trip at least once a year. And the rest of the year foreign. I think it's good to learn some of this country

Always wanted to check Seattle but I know weather sucks.

Chicago doesn't sit well with me I guess it's paranoia. I always had the Chi at the top of my list. But it fell down.

NO , SD, SF also come to mind

Cause of crime? I mean it is all isolated in the south but I've been to Chicago a bunch of times just in the downtown area and it's all fine there. NO is really cool but that is cause there really is no city like it and the culture (to me) is so unique. SD is sort of mellow but if you haven't been to LA, do both of those in a week stay. Check out Portland too. Combination good beer and cool landscapes. Unfortunately this is just the wrong time to go since we're entering winter.

There's a bus that you can catch from Rome I'm pretty sure.

Depends where on the coast you are going. We took the high speed train from rome to naples. takes about an hour.

heading to london soon, anyone have any recommendations?
Check out this place called sticky wings. Fish and chip s werent that good to me tho.

Tower of London tour was nice too. There’s plenty to see and Eat there

Heading back to London in 2 weeks for my birthday. Visited once with a girl I was dating, so I didn't get to explore the nightlife the way I'd have liked to. Any recommendations on clubs/lounges/bars that are a good time?

Will be staying in Shoreditch, but I'm willing to uber places as well.
