Your opinion on social networking

NT is fantastic, facebook is cool if you are only in direct contact with your friends (actual friends, not just somebody that knows you
from somebody, who knows you from some dude you don't know), twitter is for celebs and fake/wanna-be celebs, I don't care about
Google+ and myspace is

I don't mind google+ but the novelty factor is wearing off. According to tech sites, traffic is freefalling weekly and retention rate isn't very good. Brand engineering is part of the problem. Twitter is doing alright, but still mostly effective for celebs. Facebook is looked at as the devil with the privacy issues and the bad rep it's gotten lately. Do you use any of the 3? Which one is the best?

I'm curious only because the 3 sites are so different from one another.
Not sure if serious. Do you have one because if you did and used it effectively that wouldn't be the case.
Sure do have one. And...

*smack*

Twitter is for celebs and fake celebs. You mad?

Seriously

For those still on fb, do you not mind the amount of info that has come out on snooping and privacy issues? I'll say this, fb sucks a lot more than when it was .edu accounts only.
As long as you don't have loads of info on there in the first place, it's all good. I've been on fb since fall 05 in college, and i guess I was one of the lucky
ones who hasn't posted incriminating stuff nor had to go back and delete anything. Hell, some of my profile still says "Add Your Hometown" and
"Add Your Current Work Information". That's why it's funny when people say stuff like "it's too much drama on there", and I'm like "really?"

"umad?"

Ummm, really? Twitter is the paraphrased version of myspace. Just how facebook used to be just students, Twitter is
mostly celebs and people who reeeeeeally wanna be seen. Sounds like you're an upcoming artist who was offended.
Umad son?

 Oh

I have Google+ & Twitter but never really go on them. Still go on facebook-usually Monday-Friday while at work. Deleted my Myspace account.

I've been on Facebook for a year, and I just made a twitter the other day to see what the big deal is. I've deleted my Facebook like 2 or 3 times for a couple of months at a time. The only reason I have it is to promote my music and connect with other college freshmen. Twitter, I don't even understand the big deal.

Facebook is a great way to get into and back into someones pants....I use it constantly, also a good way of knowing whats going on with ppl far far away that you'd normally not have contact with on a daily...I "like" it

never really got into it. deleted fb a few yrs ago. dont care too much for twitter or anybody on it to follow them. if i really need to get in contact with someone, i can just email. i could care less what people who i didnt even know in hs is doing.

Pretty much.

I dont need the internet to get at girls or talk to my boys. If I fu@# with you I got your number.

Facebook is turning into MySpace, quickly. I just have too vested right now (photos, access to family memebers). I literally watched my little cousin grow up on FB (as sad as it sounds, its reality), and met an uncle I never heard from...

I never had Facebook.

I was on G+ for a few weeks. Deleted it recently because only porn gifs were being posted.

I''m on Twitter all the time. I follow interesting people and get news fast.

i use it to check up on the latest stuff (word of mouth) and of course people's birthdays

FB is good for the chat bar, but I can only take so much of the girls telling their friends how much they love them

I use twitter because most the people I follow say funny stuff, twitter is pretty much a place to just joke around for everyone around my way.

I hate facebook, but use it because I'd be out of the loop if I didn't.

Google+ I have never tried. Google knows enough about me, they don't need to know more.

I have a Facebook account I use to keep up with my friends. After college it was never the same.

I made a Twitter account to ask manufacturers about certain stuff, and follow other celebrities. I just hate how unorganized it is.

i'm on fb every damn day, atleast for an hour....i check my it on my phone when I'm not near my laptop, etc.
college student :/

Same here, I've never had a FB, Twitter, Myspace or any of that stuff.  I don't like putting my business out there and outside of family and a couple friends I don't care enough about anyone else to be online trying to keep up with their lives.  I do think Twitter has its usefulness as a news source.
