TTS: a little over a thumbs width
0.5 down: if I push my feet as far as I can forward, I can just about slide my pinkie in between the back of the shoe my heel
For Airmax 270 sizing, I suggest going 0.5 down. I have slightly wide feet and still prefer going 0.5 down compared to TTS.
I tried both on side by side, and there was too much noticeable dead space length wise for me when going TTS. Even though the 0.5 was slightly more narrow, it wasn’t that...
My opinions on FIT:
(Note: fit based on wearing with Nike Dri-Fit socks)
Just got the Aramis pair in both my TTS and .5 down (size 10 and size 9.5, respectively). For reference, I go .5 up for UBs (size 10.5). My feet aren't super wide, but they are a bit wider than normal.
I did notice...
The pair I ordered from FTL is now apparently back-ordered until next week , so I just bought another pair on ADC and will return the FTL pair when they come in...
Seeing that Eastbay and Champs are back-ordered as well. Never ordering from sneaker retailers again if I can just order straight...
Wondering this too.
From what I've gathered, some are saying TTS (has a bit of room in toe box), some are saying down 0.5 (might be narrow).
For anyone that purchased and went down 0.5, how snug does it fit?
No clue, I just called them and wasn't actually at the store. I called them this morning when they opened and they told me they were gonna receive a FSR so either they didn't receive a FSR or there were definitely people waiting...
Just a heads up, called my local Adidas (they sold out yesterday) and they're getting a new shipment in (FSR) today around 12 noon PST.
I'm sure other Adidas locations might be the same, check your local Adidas!
Wish I could try these on-foot before buying but don't think I'll have the chance...
On the fence between TTS or half size down, conflicting reports man...
