Average Niketalker*Hey, if I don't know about it they must not be important. Oh BTW, Nas or Lil Wayne???*Average Niketalker

But they're not important...
You people saying they're not relevant anymore realize they still play a few big shows every year right?
Tom Morello is considered one of the best guitarists of this generation by many.. and they were one of the most important political bands of the last 20 years... So i'm thinking they'll be remembered in 30 years, at least by anybody that has any sort of taste.
For all of you saying you've never heard of them - that last line doesn't really apply to you anyways. Enjoy your new lil wayne albums, talk about relevant.
That 20 years is more like 10 years..from like 1991-2000. Sure they've done some performances in the past 10 years, but for the whole part, their musichasn't been that influential at all. At least not to politics.
Unless our politics actually move away from the two-party system, RATM won't be remembered for their politics.
By the way, I despise lil wayne.
