I totally missed out on that for my On-Campus job then didn't pay me enough (ARRGH!).

Playoff XII's were my very first pair of Jordans back when I was in Junior High, and it took me 2 years to finish them. So much sentiment behind them. Iwanted a pair of the Retros, and to this day I want another pair. (SIZE 10 if you have it! lol)
 
Is the XII a comfortable shoe? Just from looking at it it doesn't seem like it would for some reason.
 
i hated them back then, can't say the same now i wanted them for some time but prices went up a lot...

instead i was more hyped about the wmns white/caro 12's so i had nubucks and the "melos". definately a good time back then when you are in hs andstuff.

dono about the recent 12's but the 04 12's were definately one of the most comfortable. a lot more than the OG's. the zoom air isreally cushiony and the shoe itself is very comfortable.
 
Man. I've been okay with having missed out on these both in '97 and '04, but seeing all of these pics and knowing how much I love my black/redretros and white/red og's is making me really regret that I had to pass. But when you don't have a job or money on release day, what can youdo?

i missed out on these because i had bball practice the morning of the release. after practice, one of my teammates and i went to a few local malls. sold out! iwish i wouldve tried harder to find them back then
 
I still have mine DS to go along with my OG pair, this colorway of the XIIs are one of my all time favorite Air Jordan...great shoe.
 
man i remember these...I wasn't really in the game at the time (I was a student so money wasn't right). I went to my outlet (Riverhead NY) a month orso after they dropped (I wasn't even aware of the release date) and I scooped up some b-grades for $99. I remember they had a bunch of them (mostly size12 & 13) which is ok by me - I wear a 13. In hind sight - I wish I had copped a 2nd pair to keep on ice b/c I wound up beating mine up pretty good, stillhave them though - great shoe.

Still have my pair. Theyve been worn about 10-15 times. Still in great shape. Had em back in '97 as well when I was in 3rd grade. I love black basedJordans. I wish they'd retro the playoff 13s already.
