Is the g1 touchscreen similar to the iphone because i dont want to feel like im gonna break my phones screen everytime i touch it.?

Heavy email user then get the BB but im warning you its SLOW.
I had both and I went from G1 to BB and I couldnt take it with edge no more.

I work for the company. Most of the phones are a fold. Get a G1 or BlackBerry 8900. Stay away from the Dash, Wing, Behold, Shadow, and Shadow II. Also, makesure you get it from a CORPORATE STORE (T-Mobile owned). If you see "Authorized Dealer" or "Authorized Retailer", go the other direction.They'll rape you with no lube.

I had an unlocked iPhone and it was cool for about a month. After that it was a bore. I drive everywhere so I dont really need an iPod (unless Iwanted to connect it to the car). No cut/copy paste, no mms (picture messages), no zoom, no video, no firmware updates it because it would brick so I would beshook everytime I connected it to the computer, no physical keyboard (plus the iPhone keyboard is crampped), once unlocked your warranty is toast, and last butnot least... Get the G1 if you want a physical keyboard and use it for what it is............Get an Iphone if you are a hypebeast and want to look like one.
The G1 does everything the Iphone does....cept it has a full qwerty PHYSICAL keyboard.
Holds the same amount of memory (up to 16GB)...........mind you it has only been out for about 6-9 months, so the apps are still being developed and i wouldsay it came along faster than the Iphone.
P.S. Its allot cheaper than trying to find an unlocked Iphone to work on tmobile.........u can probably buy 5 or 6 g1`s for the price of a brand new iphone andgetting it unlocked (or pay your bill for about 7 or 8 months)
