NT, is calculus hard?

no not really...the only part that will require studying is when u get to limits...other than that its light work...limits tho, you gonna have to put some workin...

No, but it's different. I mean, it really is just a different kind of math so take the time to learn the basics and you'll be fine.

No, my Calculus class (entry level) is a joke, and I attend a Top 10 University. I abhor math; I don't do any homework, don't study for tests, and Ihave a B+. It's all about being able to grasp the basic concepts and having a sound algebra background.

I made a 98 on my report card, i find it easy but it took private tutoring with my teacher to realky understand it. She helped whenever i needed it

At my university, there is Calc for Engineers and Non-Engineers. I took calc 1 and 2 for non-engineers and they were fairly easy. Got an A and a Brespectively. Its funny because I got straight Ds in calc in HS.

All math takes is practice. Practice, practice, practice. You'll soon realize after so many problems that there are only but so many ways the professor cantry to "trick" you. Most of the time, the exam problems are the exact same problems from our homework or past exams but with different numbers.

After I realized that, I tried to take higher level math classes but they are reserved for math majors. Econ FTL..

I don't think so. If you have done well in high school math, calculus shouldn't be too rough. But college level is usually divided into three parts soif you only need the basics, it shouldn't be much of a problem. Just do your homeworks and get enough practice and you're set.

It ain't hard...if you got your Algebra skills down, then it's a snap. All calculus does it take whatyou've learned from Algebra and takes that knowledge to new heights.

I think it depends on what kind of school you go to, calculus at my school is so unnecessarily tough, I put 4 days of studying in on the last test and got a b+the mean and median were something like 42.5 and 41.3, with the curve a 27 was a c-.. Even some of the graduate student teachers couldnt answer two ?'s. Aslong as your class is curved and you have above average study habits you'll get a b

naw not really just a lot of formulas and a lot of going back and forth between them sometimes one probably can be super long !!!! specially if it looks simple

calc isnt as hard as people make it seem...logarithms was tough but i think i passed w. a b-.....butyoull bust your #$% somewhere during calc, expect it....for some strange reason i could never comprehend on to solve derivatives of trig functions....goingback to trig, sin, cos, and tan was always tough for me

pay attentionto class and take advantage of study groups for your teacher....those helped out alot esp the practiced tests

I am SO glad I'm done with my Math requirements for College .

I took Statistics though . Statistics >

I hate Math .

It depends on what school and which calc. class you take. calc 1 was pretty easy for me but calc 2 was the hardest classes at my college.

If you don't need to take Real and Complex Analysis, then you have nothing to worry about.
