^ realistically, we shouldn't expect Nike to design a new Trainer just for Manny (no disrespect to him)... it was reasonable to think that they would makeit into a GR shoe with different colorways and, who knows, we might see them on NikeiD

Sold. I can't wait to try these on. Wally, I'm also interested to see DiamondFLX outsoles perform on wooden surfaces. Let's see if we truly can usethis as multi-purpose shoe.
I'm a little puzzled as to why they went with a max air bag instead of Zoom, but thats cool. With this being their flagship cross training shoe and withtheir flagship basketball personality using max cushioning in his next shoe (Lebron VII), I wonder why the shift....

I can see them definetly disowning them for this "new GREAT marketing campaign" that we see today. It wouldn't make sense foranother "rebirth shoe" to have already come out and "failed" then to see this new campaign stating essentially that we've gone fromstep one, the 87 og trainer, to the new step, the "trainer 1". It's just funny and sad. This new campaign in marketing terms isnt so great ifanother shoe is thrown in as the middle man, or the true "rebirth". But thats what nike does when they need to become innovative.
a breakdown from what i can see:
-both will have a seamless "booty" slipper like construction on in the inside of the shoe . ie: no true "tongue" like an air 180.
-the new trainer appears to have MAX air heel, and free phylon non air in the forefoot... zoom trainer had zoom air in BOTH the heel and forefoot.. A trueperformance beast

Watch that first or even after and you may understand why i'm just a little bit confused.
maybe i just need to get off my high horse and understand that nike normally doesnt pay homage to the cross training genre, so I should be thankful and takeanything they can dish out. So with that understanding, thank you Nike to creating that event to jumpstart your latest and greatest new cross trainer.

straps and OUTRIGGERs do matter. i'm a big person and theyve saved me far too often out there on the gym floor.. Flywire has me skeptical but who knows,maybe theyll make me a believer.
Soleaddict, thats likely a sample or something done via computer rendering.. the real product looks to be like the zoom tennis trainer.. basic nike on the tag:
