The AJ XX3 moved fast in most of the colorways.

And ALL of those sneakers were close to or more than the Jordan 2009 in price.

The price may have played a part in the shoe not selling.

But best believe the reason the sales were slow was more because it was an UGLY shoe than anything else.
All those sneakers are better than the 2009. Hence the fact we were complaining about the price, because it was not worth it.

It is a combination of both.

For the most part people didn't like the looks. At a reasonable price, true j heads would have copped and let them grow on them..but for $190.00 and withthe economy the way it is cats just revolted.

Maybe JB will learn from this. Not so much to lower prices (cause they won't), but to know that if you expect us to come off $185, $190, $200...you bettercome with that heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont hate them i jst dont like them enough to spend that money, id rather by a retro, i dont play ball anymore so im not motivated to buy these at all

well said. I didnt mind paying 185 for the XX3. Not cause it was the last numbered jordan, but because it looked good and felt good.

exactly what i did got em on the cheap and they did grow on me.but that heel is terrible though

I got my Black/White pair for $95 shipped to Sweden. And I just thought I would play ball in them, but they have grown on me alot.
And I would consider another pair...maybe the White/Black ones...They´re not great in any way, like the XX3´s are. But they are a very very comfy shoe that isgreat for ball...

Just my opinion...

You know, these are the first pair of Air Jordans that I haven't bought. The first pair NOT to have grown on me. I have all the Air Jordans in multiplecolors (except for the 21 - I missed out on buying those). But to me these Jordans are just boring. I'm sure they are comfortable as hell, and the fit isgreat ( The 23's were butter!!), but the shoe is just boring. I don't care about the satin or whatever material they have used, but as a footweardesigner for over 10 years, these are a disappointment, to the Jordan name (in my opinion) and don't simulate me to "step my game up". They wereon sale at my local Nike Store, 40% off and I still didn't get them.

People use the excuse that they look good in black ... most shoes look great in black because the details are hardly seen. In my opinion, a shoe must firstlook good in white, where you can see all the detailing and what not. Once that is accomplished, the black colorway is gravy. This shoe looks like it wastrying to build off the success of the 14's visually, but then became bulky and clumsy in the process.

This shoe let me down (aesthetically) , for a basketball product that bares the "Michael Jordan" name. That said, you can't please all of thepeople all of the time, and it is pretty hard to come up with something new every year. So my comments are no disrespect to the designer. And I wouldn'tbe surprised if next year's Air Jordan will be stellar. Nike is known for doing stuff like that. Just look at the detail gap between the Air Jordan 10 tothe Air Jordan 11!! Case in point. To me the Air Jordan 10 was VERY basic and had no real "bite", ( I mean, so what it had his stat's at thebottom of the shoe - and it color blocked well) but the 11s ... well you know the rest (patent leather, carbon fibre plate, clear rubber outsole showing thecarbon plate - WOW!!!!!) !!!

Peace.

quality sucks... prices are up way to high... and cant even ball in jordans as good anymore
