I've never seen it on a Avalanche, but I've seen it on Escalades.

Actually, it is.

Only the playas, pimps, and og's could only afford swangas when they first came out, because they were going for $6,000-$10,000 a set.

Only the rich white guys could afford Cadillacs with all the trimmings [83'z/84'z/belts/buckles/paint jobs...]

So, when black guys started making money, they started buying Cadillacs wit hall the trimmings and it still stands today as a status thing in Houston/Louisana.

Good info swangin, its hard to explain to outsiders of houston or even texas. Its prideful and a rite of passage and not just anybody can swang. I rememberhearing paul wall say he got jacked for his slab when he was young. Personally i dont like the rims to be poking out that much but overall slabs and swangasare appreciated

If I had my "dream SLAB" it'll be similar to this picture.

I just want an 05-06 Cadillac CTS with some Super Pokes, 5% Tint, 2-3 15's in the trunk, a VERY good alarm, suicide doors, and trunk popping.

I like neon lights, candy paint, belts, 5th wheels, and etc, but it's not for me.

I'm asian BTW.
