I've stripped a M&N from that era (same tagging) and it wasn't glued before sewing so there was no residue. I don't know if where the jersey was manufactured changes anything, but mine was Korean made.

So can anyone confirm that if you buy a player's jersey on NBAStore.com... are the numbers mesh or not? Particularly the Heat.

I don't fully understand it... you only have the option to select a "custom" jersey, but when you click the custom jersey, it gives you the option to pick a player. If you pick a player, does that mean the numbers will be mesh? Or is picking a player still the same as a custom jersey, which makes the numbers twill?

How about themiamiheatstore.com? Are their jerseys more likely to be mesh? Or the same as NBAStore.com?

Anything you buy on NBA.com (player specific, custom, whatever) is NOT mesh....Its the painted twill stuff.  

I just received my Lebron Away from themiamiheatstore.com and it is mesh.  There are also other teams stores who sell mesh....Celtics I know are one of them. I THINK the Lakers, Hawks, and maybe Nets are others as well but I am not at all sure. Maybe others know better. I'll know next week when I receive my Kobe Away from the Lakersstore.com if it has mesh.  

I think any store that doesn't use Fanatics/NBAstore.com as their inventory is morel likely to have mesh. You can tell by the way their team store site is set up...If it looks like the NBA store/Fanatics, it uses the same inventory. 

I hope this help and if I'm mistaken on any of it (which I very well may be) please let me know.

For a Champion jersey I don't think it should effect the price too much because you can get a size tag off a replica.  For a Nike/Reebok/Adidas jersey I think it would effect the price substantially.  But that's just my perspective on it.  If I could get a great deal on a legit jersey with no size tag and I knew I was going to keep it and wear it, I would buy it.

Not sure if these are legit but this seller has a lot of old school M&N jerseys for cheap. They are too big but looks like a good price. Bird, Ewing, Gilmore, Pistol Pete etc...

yea hes a n ******* for doing that plus that jersey is fake it should have the stars on the jersey like the away from that year
 
The stars are there, very faintly.. The away version has been my grail since high school. Bought one then for $100, ended up being fake albeit a high quality fake. Never tried getting these on eBay again, there were too many fakes produced back in the day.

p.s. Would u expect any less from a 0 feedback seller?
