did a chat with nike cs about these and the zoom rookies. gave her the product code, and she had no info, not in the system. i said they are available on ndc in europe and asia, and she said they are independant entities and have different inventories. i then asked is there anyway to order them from you since the are NIKE shoes on a NIKE website, and beaverton is the world headquarters, or do i have to overpay on ebay? she said caution buying on ebay because they may not be authorized nike dealers. so i asked again if i had to overpay on ebay, she then said she would make a suggestion to the product team for there to be some way to order non us releases for us customers. i told her i would appreciate that, especially since it is has been hard to get Ronaldo Corinthians jerseys, even though they are nike jerseys, and there is like a statue and field with his name on it at beaverton. so i wouldn't be surprised if we don't see them show up here. oh well.

oh well is right............ Lebron IX's are hitting ..... so ill pay more attention to those and other classic shoes that released years ago........... I.E. black/grey 2k4's.

Was able to try this shoes today and I can confirm: set up is zoom on heel and forefoot. Actually forefoot unit felt a little bit "bulky" and Im pretty sure it is the same met bag used in ZKV/VI. Tried half size bigger than my usual size and shoes matched perfectly.

^^^ thanks for the info, zeke. disappointed to know it is in fact heel and zoom only, but glad to have confirmation. i'm a little confused, though...you say it was "bulky" like the kobe v/vi. i don't have any kobe's but i thought they used a smaller zoom forefoot unit not a "bulky" one? am i wrong or am i misunderstanding you?
anyway...made my weekly call to nike asking about these. had about the same conversation damon had (relayed above). no new info, release or otherwise.
i wonder who is getting my messages every week in the Marketing Department...and if they care?!?!?

I like the Black/Purple 1.5's but not paying that much to have them shipped at full price to US...
Nike should have created the US-international portal long ago but business wise there's not much they offer abroad that they dont here to make it really worth their while Id say.

thanks for the info. thats too bad. i think full length zoom is going the way of the dinosaur. only current shoes out i can think of that have it are foam ones/pros, and zoom flight 5 id's. at least most of us who like the bb1 have a stash...
