That's almost as bad as that sign a fan had in the Bears/Saints NFCChampionship Game.

"We'll finish what Katrina started."

Stuff like this depresses me about sports. It is amazing theamount of people that don't understand where the line is and have no dignity or character, just because it "relates to sport". That isn't afree pass to do what you want. Terrible, simply terrible. I'm sure if they have a kid that has some sort of real issue like drug addiction, they wouldwant people at their office putting up signs to make fun of them. Sigh

@ the fact they spent all that time making that. And for what???? othercowboys fans to see? not like it was in philadelphia or inside the stadium.

Bet you thought it was funny though when Philly fans glued pills and pill containers to their old T.O. jerseys...

lol @ Philly fans having the nerve to say "classless" when they cheered that Michael Irvin was potentially paralyzed

Philly fans whining about class. I'm not saying EVERY one of you is classless because it's obviously not true but come on now, you know you guyshave a reputation. Chief Zee doesn't go to games in Philly anymore because a bunch of fans beat him up and broke his ribs. You guys booed Santa Clause. Youcheered when Michael Irvin had that career ending injury. Clinton Portis' mom had to knock somebody in the face because they were harrassing her. Need I goon?

Creative and hilarious...

And Iggles fans can't say +*%# lol...they was the ones last year chanting 'OD, OD' when TO went thru that whole thing...eye 4 an eye, patna...

Naw, the Katrina is much, much worst and I don't know how anyone can laugh at that.

That's uncalled for.

Family matters = out of bounds
Natural disasters = out of bounds
Life-threatening illnesses (e.g., cancer) = out of bounds

Meh - i'd rather see stuff like this taking place than batteries or ice balls being thrown at players... people will yell and say all kinds of stupidstuff, especially with enough time and alcohol mixed together at sporting events. So long as they keep it to talking and not threatening or attempting to harmsomebody physically, it's whatever.. there's jerks in every crowd who will take it too far, but if it's just words, it's just words.

it really isn't a question of one over the other though. whether tasteless or mean spirited, it's ll out of bounds

that's just really low. you can't talk about other people's family matter like that. talk about Andy Reid if you want to talk about it but not hisfamily. No, that's just classless.

I don't believe in censorship either, though... most good comedy comes out of places like this, places that most people are afraid to step on or thinkare too touchy to talk about jokingly. It's that fine line that makes things like this funny to many people.

While you may not find it funny - i'm sure a lot of people do. Same goes for all the things that have been mentioned here... i'm sure there's somejokes about other NFL teams that I would find funny that others might find tasteless.. We can't go around trying to create a set of rules for what'sacceptable to poke at and what's not - which is why i said, so long as it's just words, it's just words.

^ So let me paint a hypothetical picture for you, based on how I've interpreted your argument.

You're an NFL coach.

You're a model NFL coach, seen as an awesome family man. Everyone knows your story of you and your wife, which is that you two have known each other sincejunior high, never had any other boyfriends/girlfriends, and you guys married in college, 13 years ago. You have 3 kids, the youngest of which is 7 months old.

You take a huge hit in the middle of the season after learning that your youngest... isn't yours. She cheated on you, and the child is not yours.

That Sunday, you still go to the game and coach, like you're supposed to, because that's your job and you're a super awesome guy.

The entire game, some guy behind you keeps yelling, "I'm the father, Coach!
laugh.gif
" Later, you get mad at a play on the field and you slam your clipboard down. Then you hear that guy again. "What are you slamming down,Coach? The paternity test results?
laugh.gif
"

You don't get mad at him? You don't think he's crossed the line? You just think, "Enh... at least he's not physically harming me. It'sjust jokes. Everyone laugh at his funny jokes.

Funny guy. What a funny guy heis"?
