Welp, people are already lined up at the other skate shop in my area. It's online or bust for me now.

I fall under the later... Had a nasty dirtbike accident and I can't skate (but have pictures of me doing tricks from before accident) .... If they tried to say that to me, I'd video tape it and take it to the news.. And bet if get for retail if not for free

The point is people shouldn't have to prove themselves to make a purchase. I wouldn't cop from a shop that had such stupid stipulations for the purchase of a pair. I hope stores like that go out of business because it's downright unethical to tell one consumer you can purchase at this price and another you have to pay this price because you can't do what he can. As a business owner, you should treat this as an opportunity to expand your shop. Make merchandise to go with the product, hand out coffee and hot coco to campers to show you appreciate them. This strategy has been used by many business in the their earlier stages to spread the word about who they are. A lot of these shops will cash in now, but lose in the long run.

Damn, I assume that's 35north? Other few spots have a time restriction when people can start camping?

Alive and Well will allow people to line up starting at 6AM, but they will be only allowing people to purchase their shoe size.

just swung by supreme on the way home from work. no line yet.

guys inside "can't divulge that information" when asked how many pairs they have, maybe somebody else here was able to milk that info outta them.

i think i'm too old to camp so it's gonna be online or bust for me in the AM, but i wanted to give the NYC fam some info.

i'll probably be in soho later tonight so if i can i'll swing by the store and post an update on the line.

i confirmed they definitely have them, guy at least told me that. wouldn't tell me anything else. "can't tell you anything else. we open at 11am tomorrow, we will have them then."

Cool. I know you can't camp in the daytime at Supreme. The other retailers get super pissed about that.

You can't camp during the day. You can camp overnight but they aren't responsible for what happens to you during that time.

never camped there before but based on the info just posted i'm guessing the line starts for the thursday/saturday drops sometime after close and before they open the next day. probably right after close if it is a box logo hoodie drop lol

True. That's just the nature of people in general. Everyone wants a handout. I've seen people who have been on NT for years( supposedly) asking for info. The world is filled with lazy people. NT is not immune
