Anyone ever had their feet grow after they themselves stopped growing?

Well....
Turns out I'm going to have to sell my entire collection (300 plus pairs, never really counted) because I've went from an 8-9 to a solid 9.5....

Everything must go, everything. Hurts my soul, can't even look at my collection. I'm going to just go ahead and put them on consignment I don't even feel like doing any legwork I'm so distraught. Feels like all these shoes are just borrowed like they weren't ever meant to be mine, can't even wear my size 9s because my foot got so wide.

Anyone have a similar experience? What did you do? Did you ever get your collection back? If so how long did it take you to get it all back?

I'm 24 by the way, I stopped growing a while ago but my girl swears I grew an inch taller (I don't feel taller). I definitely have gained weight (like 30 lbs) but I don't think that matters at all.

I love my kicks, it's going to be so weird walking into my room and just seeing empty space, opening my closet and seeing nothing.

Gaining weight will definitely do it, most people will get their wedding bands resized at least one time, extremity like the foot wouldn't be any different.

Everybody is different though.

Hit the gym fam! I actually had my foot fit more comfortably in smaller sizes (.5 smaller) since I've been losing weight.

@ Manslayer: Do you wear a .5 smaller now for your true size or do you still wear your normal size and now have the ability to wear a .5 smaller?
I mean I could rock a 9, but I prefer a looser fitting shoes because I do prefer thick socks (NBA Socks, Elite Socks)....

And yes

I really do need to hit the gym hard. Gotta shed that weight but I don't think it would make a difference in the long run....

I read that over time, most people's arches naturally collapse thus widening and lengthening the foot. I think the weight might have added some meat to my foot but I also think it collapsed my arch a bit (maybe I'm reaching?....going to see a podiatrist on that). I don't know, I'm lost really.

Interesting about the arch potentially collapsing. See that podiatrist bro, I'm actually going to see one this week for an unrelated issue.

Cut your toenails!

I've never had a problem like that, but I have with my fitted hats. I bought a bunch when my hair was long and shaggy and then once I got it cut, none of them fit anymore. Even though I don't wear hats as much now, I think I have to buy 2 sizes down from where I originally was...

Yup happened to me as well. Used to rock kicks sizes 9.5-10 but now those shoe sizes hurt my feet. Now I'm able to fit shoe sizes 10.5(most snug fit..11-11.5 is my most preferred and 12 is the most extreme I can go for shoe sizes)-12... Good thing I started collecting shoes when my feet no longer grow... My feet grew an inch when I was in my 20's(I'm 26 by the way)...

Have an appointment tomorrow will do update on what the podiatrist says. Hopefully my experience serves as a lesson for fellow NTers, I would never in life wish this on anyone not even my worst enemy. Hurts to have to sell your collection, worked so hard for so long acquiring each and every pair and now I have to let go....

So do you usually buy two pairs? One in a 10-10.5 and one in a 11.5?
My left foot is a 9 my right is a 9.5.

I'm going to keep my 9s but my 8-8.5 (which makes up about 70% of my collection) will have to get sold. I'm determined to get every single last pair back no matter how long it takes, no matter what the cost. I'm losing my mind
