I wear a 9 in Nike runners. I have an 8 in Lunargrands (suede wingtip, leather longwing, combat boots).
Out of curiosity, how much were they? They're at full retail at CH.com

Hey all! I've read through a lot of this thread, been a lurker for a while now. I've seen a lot of awesome stuff and some great information, so thanks to all who've contributed.
I've recently started up a Lunargrand collection. I'm loving how comfortable they are while still keeping a sense of class to them, which is exactly what my job requires.
So far I've got the black perfs, volt/grey wingtips, milkshade suede, and the saddle in sandstone/red. All size 9.5. I recently bought the Penny loafers in Oxblood in 10.5 but they're too large, as I was afraid they would be but it was the only size I could find. So if any one is looking for the Pennys in 10.5 PM me and maybe we can work something out.
Does anyone have the Penny loafers in Oxblood 9.5, maybe 10? Or the black grain Fragment Design editions? Those are ones I've liked the colors of that go with my work attire.
If anyone has anything in 9.5/10 that they might be willing to part with send me a PM, with pics if possible.
I'd be interested in used or dead stock/new, dependent on price.

I own multiple pairs of Lunargrands. I size down a half size from Nike's which is the norm. I have had the Black upper with white sole in a size 9 for a while now. They are very comfortable and fit perfectly. I recently purchased a pair of black/black and they destroyed my feet at work. I got home and put them next to my black/white's and they are visibly smaller. Not by a lot but just small enough to tear up my feet.
Has anyone else had this problem? Do the black/black typically run smaller than most other Lunargrands?

The leathers on those two seem to be drastically different. When I saw both at a CH store, the black leather on the white sole one was significantly softer than the one on the black/black one. From my observation, the black/white appeared more grainy and softer while the black/black was smooth and plasticky.
EDIT: I bought the black/black and returned them because of the quality. When I put tried them on, I remember them being the same size as the ones I have right now.

Im shocked that you wore through them and the soles are so clean! You must heel drag really bad and clean them obsessively.

^i hardly ever clean these shoes. i'd say spot wipe a handful of times. heel drag for sure because im just lazy haha. had these since they came out and probably avg. 3-5 times a week for over a year now.
