Lunargrand

I wear size 9's in Nikes and definitely don't fit into Nike 8.5's but LunarGrands in 8 definitely fit me the best. 8.5 LGs work but my feet would move around in 'em a whole lot.

It also depends on what socks you use with each type of shoe. I only use athletic socks with Nikes and thin casual/dress socks with LGs. If I wore thick socks, I would have to go with the 8.5 LGs but that would just be tacky.

I would say LG sizing is pretty much the same as dress shoe sizing.

Those definitely look classy but the leather look like the plastic black on the black/black leather longwings.
 
I agree thick socks look tacky. I guess not everyone fits the same. It's best to try the shoes at the end of the day when your feet swell.

I referenced my sizing using dress socks (thin socks). I'm the same size with thin dress socks on all CH dress shoes and lunargrands.

The only CH shoes that are not consistent with my sizing are the CH shoes made in Italy, I have to go a full size down on laced shoes and sometimes 1.5 size down on loafers.

I'm a half size larger on flynits trainers and lunars. It's best to try it on at the store if possible.

I wish they were a little more pointy like these Carminas, they look a bit blobby on the toe. But, then again, they might look better in person.

I also wear size 9 on all my nikes. My first lunargrand is a size 9. I bought a chukka and another long wingtip same size but realized they were too big so I returned them. Ended up getting two 8.5 long wingtip instead.
 
Picked these up the other day at Nordstrom rack $120 after tax. At the Lynnwood, WA location if anyone near by is looking, they still had a few pairs around

Blazer blue size 8.5

The blue has a more snug fit whereas the 9 has considerable amount of to space. As mentioned earlier all my nikes are size 9.

Can you kindly post closer photos of the blue one? That's the one from the Nordstrom anniversary sale, correct?

Is the front/back nubuck while the middle area, suede? Haven't seen that color anywhere except Nordstrom.
 
So I tried on the Zero Grand.  Probably the most comfortable shoe I've ever put on.  Period.

I'm just not feeling the sole.  They look like freakin' teeth.  Pass.
 
Yes they're from nordstrom. I'm not sure about the material but I'll provide some close ups. Also just got the grey/white "kudu" lunargrand. These are different from the ones on sale at cole haan right now. They're size 9
but interestingly enough they are the same length as my size 9 Woodbury. Super plush though.

Thanks for the additional photos. Still can't tell what leather they are, I'll probably check 'em out at my local Nordstrom if I get the time. They're not high up on my want list.

The grey/white ones look sweet. What's the style number and price on the grey/white ones? From Nordstrom too? Those are different from the grey ones (blazer blue tongue) at CH.com.
 
Hello fellow NTers... do any of you have any input on what type of belt that would match the Milkshake wingtips? I see that they have CH suede belts made out of the same MS material. I'm going to wear them to a wedding and since it's summer I thought suede would be cool. I'm wearing them with navy pants, light blue shirt and a navy bowtie.

What do you guys think? Should I go "matchy matchy" with the belt and shoes or not?

Bought me a pair of these too. Glad they look nice!

These are the grey ones with blue tongue from cole haan right now that I purchased a week ago. The main difference is the material and the color of the sole. I love the kudus more which is why I returned them.
 
Also, regarding the zeros don't like them at all. They look like Swiss cheese. The sales rep at cole haan kept trying to sell them to me. Also I was thinking of getting these. Does anyone own a pair ?

 belt and shoes should match (at least that's what my wife tells me). Whole outfit sounds good as far as color coordination bro.

Am I correct that the kudu soles are more pure white while the current ones are more off white or cream color?

The kudu one is nice but man, that is expensive! You shelled out full retail for it?
