Jordan is a sport wear brand. Line like CP, Melo, etc are geared toward performance on the court. There are people who buy bball shoes for its intended purpose. These are performance sneaker. Melo are not made for today skinny jean wearing kids.

All the melos since the 5.5 have been great performance shoes

How can you call a shoes garbage when you don't even play ball in them yet ?

I don't think JB is looking for excuse to make them ugly. They already know what their direction is going to be for the Melo line since day 1. Most consumer buy the Melo line to play ball in and that's that. These shoes are strictly made for performance. If JB worry about aesthetic too much they won't have room to push the envelop.

Jordan brand at the end of the day is still a sport apparel brand. These are made for people who want to play ball. Not everyone is going to pay $180 for a basketball shoes that's why they have team Jordan, Melo, CP etc for the people who really use the shoes for its intended purpose.
 
The M9s looking interesting. Seems like there might be too much going on with them, but maybe it's just bad color blocking. I'm interested to see them in other colorways and what the tech is in these shoes....

These are my favorites.  Solid shoe on and off court.

I really wanted the M7 Advance, but of course Jordan Brand limits them....
 
Just let Wade, CP, and Melo wear P.E. Retros and release them to the public stop with this garbage please.

I still have my 1.5. One of my favorite shoes all time. They were so confortable. Mine were the original white/baby blue.
 
What is going on? First our pets heads are falling off, then we got naked dudes eating other dudes faces, now these ....

wow this is disappointing. the m8 were a nice shoe to ball in just needed some better colorways but these are straight trash. melo be doing something wrong. not feeling the whole strap w.e. thing garbage
 
I'm a huge Knicks and melo fan but these are absolutely without a shadow of a doubt straight garbage. Why would they release these
 
not feelin these at all, although the M8's grew on me, maybe these will too. It is def something diff, ill give them credit for that. However i dont think i have ever seen a melo sneaker i wanted to buy

i wish they would do that, but i feel like they would end up being limited releases. They would be mad hard to cop and would just give re sellers another way to scheme
