@Hank Scorpio and any other guys with leather soled boots in the NE. Do you get a rubber sole put on or do you just avoid wearing them in snow/ice?

Can any of you guys send me some ideas for a fall coat? I'm looking for something a little longer in length, but not extremely long. Lightweight. I don't have anything specific in mind so anything brought up would be appreciated

Sorry but I don't check the thread much anymore. To answer RFX's question: I got them from my stockist in England who has ties with Alfred Sargent.
If you guys want a boot like those Daltons, I would look at Loake Hyde. They come in caramel and dark brown. Granted they aren't wing tip boots, but at around $300 the quality is great. I would rank the quality to be on par with Alden.
I have three pairs of AEs and quality is subpar at best for what they are. I'm done with American made shoes for the most part. Sold several pairs of Aldens but only to pick up more
A couple pairs en route and I should be done. Been on that buy one sell one system lately.

worth a shot if it's not out of your way. but 3rd party items are usually excluded. maybe you will get a nice SA though

Actually stopped by after lunch since I was in the same shopping center. Asked the associate and she tried it out and it worked. Going to place my order next month. I limit myself to one big clothing purchase a month lol
