red suedes are the ugliest of the 3 IMO, i also agree that Nike coulda done some dope *** colorways for Kobes YOTS pack seeing as he is Black Mamba and closing in on his retirement (which suxz :/)... i do believe nike fell short

Hoping the Black YOTS fall under the radar. Please keep thinking "They're too plain." Saw all 4 kicks releasing this weekend. The only ones I'm interested in are the Black YOTS. The Red Suedes look clean in a different way, but not my cup of tea. I was high on the volts initially, but after seeing them not being exactly the volt color and more yellowish, they're an easy pass. Plus I did a volt iD that should be here at the end of the month which are much better IMO.
I wonder if they'll come out with a clean single colored upper like the ones Kobe wore. This camo/xmas print stuff needs to end...

EXT doesn't stand for extraterrestrial, heard it just stands for "Extended". Extraterrestrial is referring to the ASG/Area 72 colorway.Found some on feet pics on Instagram

I like the ASGs but not enough to cop for myself. My lady loves her pair, they look better in GS sizes IMO. It's something about the toe part of the shoe. It's too much orange where the toe front and the midsole meet. From that point on back the shoe looks good. Definitely not one of my favorites though.

Spoke to a manager at my local FNL this morning. Had 20-30 min conversation about releases (Small store that doesn't get many big releases other than the occasional Js). He said they aren't getting any of the Kobe's this weekend that FNL is slowly expanding the stores receiving Kobes as the month goes on. From what he gathered they were doing them on a trial basis to start by major markets/areas, and that the smaller stores could begin to receive Kobe shipments around the end of the month.
Just an FYI for those in small markets that don't seem to be getting any of the Kobe's at their respective FNLs.

I love my pair of ASGs, but I wouldn't say they're my favorite tho.
Christmas, Sulphurs and Purple Gradients (please release them in April Nike), are my top 3 so far...
Throw in Easters and Black EXTs, and that's my top 5.

Just went to the closest ftl to me. They did a raffle for the red camos, miss out on it tho.

I wear a 13 in these with ankle braces, same with hyperdunks, hyper fuses, and shox back in the day. So the Kobe VIII are tts for me.

Saw your pic posted on the Nike Zoom Kobe FB page... I got your back like a bra strap tho...Un-Sulfur? The dye is holding up so far. Needed another coat because I can see some yellow through the perforations in natural light. Looks pretty good to me.
