Nike Deion Sanders signature shoes

Tried them on today. I have to say they felt like the originals that I wore back in '96 while working at Champs Sports. They are definitely nice. I had the back/gold cw back then but I bought the reds this time. I dont like the black and yellow but I may cop if they go on sale.
 
No, I don't think they have the forefoot air. Otherwise they felt the same as the originals - heel cushion, upper, etc.
 
damn that sucks. for that price and the non endorsement of prime time you would figure forefoot air would be in them... smh
 
No, they weren't an original release. They originally came in black white gold, white red gold and white navy silver.

I tried them on Saturday and they felt to me as if they didnt have forefoot air. I had the original DT in 96 and those did have forefoot air.

yea nike be gimping retro shoes for years now. all my trainer max 91's come to mind lol

^^ Yep, I know the difference. I had the first zoom turf (barry sanders) shoe when they first came out. I know the difference between that and forefoot air and the DTs have no forefoot air of any kind.
 
Wait... correct me if I'm wrong, I had these in 5th grade, but didn't the originals and even the last retros have mesh toe boxes? What happened? This looks terrible!
 
Yeah I noticed that. The originals had a mesh toe box for sure. Not sure about the first retros. That said I didn't like that the original was mesh myself.
 
How do the DT1s fit? Anybody own a pair? Wanna buy a pair, but I have wide feet & they look like they fit narrow.

go try them on, trust me they will hit sales racks so you have plenty of time. Go find your right size and then wait for a good price
 
True. I want them to release another mostly black cw. Maybe retro the Ravens cw again, since it is the best of them all.
