I'm just trying to live comfortable. My own space, be able to fit it to my liking, have a girl/wife, have some kids/adopt some kids...be able to provide for them until they can hold their own and take care of my parents and siblings.
People wanna be rich because it gets you more "stuff". even people become "stuff" at that point.

Why wouldnt everyone want more of the commodity that makes living life the easiest?
The real problem is that most people think that being money driven is synonymous with being greedy and that is nowhere near the case, they are not one in the same. There is not a single thing wrong with someone desiring to be rich, people are already trying to put a negative spin on it in this thread.

Honestly, there is nothing wrong in aspiring to rich, as long as you have the skills and innovation on your side. However, if you're making money just for the sake of making money and spending it on material things, then there is a problem.

Since you are born, society tells people they need material things to live a good life and to be recognize by others.
They always need to have the best. Best car, best house, best girl, best trip, etc.

Personally I don't care to be rich on some hippy type mentality. Money is something I wish was never created, as well as greed. Life was intended to be something better then chasing a piece of paper, shiny gold rock, or material. I wish to just be happy in life, meet new people, have memorable experiences with friends and family, and create a family of my own. You don't need money for that. I live to be happy, sure you may have to work harder to earn your money, but if you stop looking at the next guy and enjoy everything you've been blessed, or for FutureMD scientifically equipped with, you'll have a rich life.

riches give you the ability to do stuff like travel, see/experience things that cost money; and to do all of these with less stress that one who didn't have riches would experience
