Is it really another half?

For all the talk about "urban islands in a sea of red" during the election, it turns out that 80% of all Americans live in urban areas. In addition, 40% of those eligible to vote didn't show up, and Trump won with a smaller amount of votes.

The sea of Red is empty population-wise.

If anything, it's more than half.

The 46% of Trump voters aint riding with you.

And I'd venture to say the majority of 40% of eligible voters that dont give a **** aint riding with you, either.

Again, you don't know that.

That Hillary won by 3 million votes is no fluke; the majority of Americans live in cities; a large majority of those 40% who didn't would probably be in cities. That's even without taking into account the amount of people who didn't vote because they thought she would win (brexit effect).

Beyond that, there are many people in this country who do agree with leftist policies but not with their representatives. The GOP knows they are a minority party population-wise, which is why they are hanging onto gerrymandering, voter ID laws, and the Electoral College to stay in power.

After a year of this administration, I would like to see how many people will approve of the things he is try to pass.

Also all these Democrats including Corey Booker, talking about resist and fight yet are jettisoning all these appointments right through. They too are frauds.

so f it lets ban beef consumption then.. im Sure that's much easier to do, or do you suggest that we dont do anything at all

I'm not for bigger government, so no. You can't dictate like that.

Until a better solution arrives, citizens should be good citizens and take responsibility for their lives. It's a problem when people look to government to regulate and rule over every aspect of their lives.

Says the man that says he hopes for a Federal Conceal Carry Reciprocity Law

Da Hypocrisy

-And I saw you comment about the left wanting socialism. That is plain and simple not true. The left doesn't advocate for socialism, and nor is a advocating for a few more social programs a bad thing

To counter the liberal bs gun laws that should have never been passed in the first place.

Says who, you?

You live in a liberal state, if you don't like the guns laws you have the option to move to a state with different laws.

Stop relying on big government to regulate your life. :D

Wanting to keep the constitution intact doesn't mean I want bigger government.

The constitution bestows rights on the states buddy. States can regulate beyond the federal government

Plus Cali's laws have not bee struck down by SCOTUS

You're just picking a choosing which part of the constitution you want "upheld" to rationalize your argument

You're advocating for big government to come give you want you want.

So I repeat "da hypocrisy"

Don't even see it. I just said that they pick and choose when they want government to intervene.

While the construction of a border wall was a linchpin of Trump’s presidential campaign, he has tried to persuade taxpayers that Mexico will ultimately pay for the project – a claim Mexican leaders have repeatedly denied.

“I’m just telling you there will be a payment,” Trump said in an interview with ABC News. “It will be in a form — perhaps a complicated form. And you have to understand what I’m doing is good for the United States. It’s also going to be good for Mexico. We want to have a very stable, very solid Mexico.”

Why does he keep lying :rolleyes

Not if its conflicting legislation between the two.

Which is why a full on gun ban in any state could never happen. So to get around that California makes laws like the ones they recently passed to make gun owners deal with more and more headaches. And they use fear and lies to get the public behind it.
