Do you think Lebrons are getting played out?!

Nah. LeBrons are some of the most comfortable and durable shoes. Retro Jordans...not so much.

If anything is "played out," it's Jordan retros.

Wherever I go I see someone with Lebrons on 9s or 10s, high or low! I think they are too common and people are wearing them way too often. I personally am okay with the shoes, but I'm tired of seeing them so often. What do you guys think? Are Lebrons played out or not?

Good! Let them beat their pairs and toss them in the garbage so when you wear your IXs and Xs a few years from now you'll be fresh!

create a thread to complain about how many other people are wearing LeBrons? Ok.... just seems like a waste to me. Are you wearing LeBrons?

You obviously didn't read me original post! I wanted to know others' opinions on Lebrons and if they are being worn too often.

I personally haven't seen anyone wear the Lebron X and the 9 wasn't too popular.
Most people I see wear Toms and Vans over Jordan retros, Lebrons, and Kobes combined, to me Toms and Vans are played out because that's all I see
Lebrons appeal to sneakerheads and non-sneakerheads alike because they are comfortable, durable, easy to clean, and hardly crease.
People are wearing them because they are a good shoe.
Are Nike frees played out because everyone wears them too?

couldnt disagree more. He is the face of nike basketball. It's what is supposed to happen. It makes perfect sense.

Lebrons aren't played out, that weak *** south beach colorway is played out.

But y'all eat that **** up.

The quicker that hype dies, the better.

The lebron X is the dopest lebron sneaker since the VII. There's nothing wrong with lebrons sneakers, Nike is just giving y'all the same **** every year and that's what's played out. Same themes, same colorways, and damn near the same design every year now

How is a shoe that makes Multi Millions of dollars for its company played out?

Someones buying them right?

I don't think they're played at all, the hype started to kick in with the 8 south beach as many others have mentioned and it just took off with the 9.  I don't think they're pushing his line like they use to imo.  1-6 had some crazy designs and some could even pass for being the 10 more so than the actual 10.  Now I think they're playing it safe with his line which isn't necessarily a bad thing.  That's my take on it.

That's the reason why they have them on ID I suppose so people can create their own unique colorways...

Played out is a broad term. IIf you think they are marketing them like crazy I would say yes.

Who exactly would be marketing them? I haven't seen any campaign ads or commercials for LeBron's sig. Just my observation.

Seriously, who gives a flying fish...

They are shoes. You're mad because you see them all over...are they hurting your eyes? What an asinine thing to complain about

This topic seems to come up for every shoe. Foams, Kobes, Lebrons etc. My opinion is that if you are a true fan, it never gets played out to you. And thats all that should matter. Like someone said above, If they are getting played out I hope they REALLY get played out. More for me.

TRUTH!

I think I'd only view them as played out if I purchased them with the intention of trying to be exclusive. Fact of the matter is if you're wearing gr's, especially a shoe of a big name athlete like Lebron you have to expect there are going to be a lot of people wearing the shoes.

Nope, but if you bought them because of hype, then yes. I personally think the "south beach" and "Miami vice" colorways are played out.
