2012 OFFICIAL NBA Fantasy Basketball Thread

Just got offered Lou Williams and Klay Thompson for Pau. Threw Pau on the block to see what i could get for him, and got this offer this morning. I just don't want to have to drop someone since i'll be getting two dudes.
take this trade and run.

also, if you guys havent heard, pau, dwight, and jordan hill, are all injured.

PICK UP ANTAWN JAMISON

Now that Scott Skiles is gone, is it worth it to pick up Dunleavy? The only player that's droppable on my team at this point is Jason Terry. Jet's been hurting my team lately but I just can't see myself dropping him for dunleavy

Paul Millsap and Paul George for Chris Paul and Chandler Parsons

Good trade?
i would be getting Chris Paul and Parsons

Got offered Jared Dudley for Jamal Crawford, should I take it? Currently 3rd in a 14 team league
if you need a sg/sf then yes. but i'd actually stick with crawford. both are about the same though

we dont know how the new coach would play each player. im keeping my tabs on dunleavy and john henson but dont pull the trigger just yet.

Here's my team right now.

G. Vasquez
J. Harden
P. Pierce
L. Sanders
J. Crawford (LAC)
A. Varejao
C. Landry
J. Redick
E. Davis
D. Lillard
T. Parker
B. Beal
Alan Anderson

Dropped Big Baby last week cuz of matchups, and I suffered my second loss, didn't help that Crawford missed 2 games last week either.

I HATE Greivis. He single-handedly whooped me last week with his ****ing assists. Where did this jerkoff come from?

First Love goes down now Varejao isn't coming back. There goes my chances at winning this year :frown:

that is why it's best to avoid injury prone players on draft day no matter how enticing it is to take him because he fell to the later rounds, because you would be engaging in high risk, high reward gambling if that is your thing. Before you draft you should always list the players you want to avoid including injured or injury prone players. I had chances to to take players like Love, but went against it knowing that once a player get seriously injured, there are more likely to get injured again during the course of the season. Same reason I didn't take Steph C, but it looks like he is staying healthy for the most part, knock on wood. You never know when those two bum ankles will start up again. But then again that is the beauty of fantasy, you win some and you lose some. :D

Wall possibly returning this Saturday. I hope so, held him this whole time. Dude better put numbers up the rest of the season when he does come back.

u gotta give him time though to adjust and get into game shape. Dude hasn't played a full game in like how long. I give it late Jan or early Feb he is fully up to speed.

Yeah no doubt, i don't expect him to be in full playing shape. Will more than likely have limited minutes the first few weeks. I'll gladly take that though then him just sitting on my bench all season.

Yeah with that 20/20 hindsight it wasn't a smart idea to draft Love. The hand injury didn't seem so major at the time with that 4-6 time table and hand injuries aren't like knee injuries that will severely affect the player's performance. I guess I was hoping for Love to be like Kobe and play through the hand injuries

I don't regret picking up Varejao though. I picked him up late in the 7th round and the output has been :pimp:. The crazy thing is that without injuries, I clearly have the best team in my league . There was a point where I had all of my guys healthy (except Nash) and I was steam rolling through everyone. At this point if my guys can all be back around the all star break, I don't mind dropping to the last seed in my league's playoffs because I know they can carry me

Given Scott Skile's firing, I'm thinking of dropping either Paterson or Landry for Ilyaosva. Comrades, I seek your advice.

I would drop landry for ersan. Keep patterson dude is still adjusting after coming back from injury. He should get his starting job back soon and produce like pre injury. Ersan should be better off w/o skiles messing up his minutes. Dude can provide pts, rebs, stls, and 3s. Go.

If ur in a 6 man league ur team should be stacked top to bottom. I don't know why u would be picking up two injured players.

Cause im last place :frown: and Kevin Love just injured himself
There should be better options on your wire than two injured players. 6th man league should mean a loaded wire. If ur losing b/c love got injured how is another injured player going to help? Rose is still a long way from returning and wall should be back saturday but will require atleast 2 to 3 weeks to get back up to speed and produce like he should. Since ur in last u need immediate help.

Kevin Durant and Evan Turner for Paul George, Marc Gasol, and Eric Gordon

is that a balanced trade you guys?
i am currently third in the league

id be getting kd
