It's already almost to 1.2, with China coming. It's going to stop under 2 Bil, after hitting 1 Bil in a week & a half, with the 2nd largest market still coming????

AOTC is so god awful that it's a minor miracle that I even watch it as part of the canon in preparation for the new movies. How anyone can rank it ahead of any SW movie is beyond me. TPM is the GOAT relative to AOTC

And I don't get CP's boner for his prediction like it's a mantra he keeps repeating 

 I'm had my doubts if it would break the all-time box office just because I don't know how well it'll do in China. Great numbers, sure, but I don't know if SW has that kind of fanbase over there. I won't be surprised if it does break the record, but I was on the side that it would come close but fall short.

If China isn't in to or responsive to an unknown black actor basically being the main male lead of the movie I can see TFA doing mild big #s unless they all just love Han and Chewy. A quick cameo of some Asians getting killed probably won't cut it.
