Just read this cute prom story & remembered I didn't go :frown:

I kinda regret it, I didn't even go to any of the parties :\
 
I don't. Me and my boys didn't go. We just chilled together that night. My grade had sloots and stupid *** dudes. I had more friends that were underclass men anyways

When I heard about the prom a few days later turns out It was wack
 
If I didnt go, I wouldnt have. Prom was pretty lame. There were a series of unrelated events that had an effect on how the event turned out for me, but thats for a blog.
 
I went my junior year but skipped out my senior year. Prom is very overrated but I wanted to experience it at least once. 

Skipping out my senior year to go party at IU was money. Met this guy 
 
I was mostly introverted in HS when it came to the females so no prom for me.

Fast forward a few years and I'm done with college and I will be proposing to my girl soon.

No regrets about not going to prom

I regret not going to my Sr. Prom, but then again I regret a lot of things from HS. Oh well, what can you do about the past anyways? Just keep forging forward, OP.

I didn't go junior year and really regretted it, senior years was a TON of fun and I had a great night. Looking back on it, doesn't really matter either way... lol.
 
I remember the type of dudes that didn't go to Prom...

What I am getting from this thread is that NT is now populated with lames, losers and wussies.
 
Instead of going to prom I spent the money I would have used on some bugs bunny 8s. Lol

Actually.. My junior year my girl wanted to go with me(she was a grade below me).. I told her we could go.. Like a week before it.. After she bought her expensive dress.. I told her I wasn't going..:lol:
No damns given.

Don't hurt their feelings. They already know themselves, so why tell them again to remind them.

All the girls/guys in my high school click knew who they were paired with already but the girls made it a point to tell us that they weren't gonna go unless we asked them in some special way. You can blame the OC and whatever other TV shows were hot in high school for this. One of my friends weedwhacked "PROM?" into this giant reservoir bank covered with really tall grass and drove his girlfriend to it the next day. Each letter was like 25 yards. It made the local paper :smh:
