Well Selmy is one of the greatest knights Westeros has seen so his skills would still give younger guys that work. Book jorah was more beastly since he was more bear-like.

As far as fighters go on the show, you gotta deal with only what you've seen up to date. Not book information or even high praise about somebody on the show.

If we are going top 5 dead or alive. Then Jorah isn't in it.
