What was your prom like?
How'd you ask your date?
Did you get the yams and did you where sneakers ?


Getting the ball rolling on mine it's crazy to think I'm about to be done with high school
 
I cant go yo mine because i cant affotd it, but im defitnitley going to the after parties in Daytona beach.
 
Went by myself, because at that time I was so insecure that I was scared of rejection. Still had a great time, and by everyone else's opinion anyone who wore sneakers with a suit looked like a moron. The up side of being by myself tho, is that I got my jiig on the dance floor with everyone elses dates, which at the time was ok with me. Looking back, I had a great time, but it was a bittersweet day because that was truly the end of not having to be a responsible young adult.

Live it up young NT'er, dont focus on getting yambz as much as you should be enjoying time with some people who might not make it through young adulthood.
 
Dont wear sneakers to prom family. Wear the shoes they give you when you rent your tux.

1) Prom was mad fun. Had it at a big hall/function room type plAce. Us seniors all pitched in and copped a dope *** house on the Cape for the night and through the next day :pimp: Yall should try to arrange something similar for after.

2) Chick i was feeling (junior) wrote me a bday card with "senior prom?" written on it. Twas a great day :D However in the event that you have to ask, just do it. Females love prom.

3) I didnt get the yambs and i never did. Probably never will. :smh: She is so bad.

I went with my girl at the time. Here's how I asked her:

-I went to school a little early

-Poured Hershey kisses all around her parking spot

-Had a heart shaped balloon tied to a dozen roses and placed that on her spot next to the kisses

-The balloon read "Now that I've kissed the ground you walk on...Will you go to prom with me?"

The trick is to do something very creative and different yet simple. And to do it so every one can see. She will eat it up and love it. As people were arriving to school, she had people calling her to come to school quick and what not. Everyone was taking pictures and whatnot, it was crazy. 

Here's how my Prom went:

-Excellent time

-Shaky butt for days

-Amazing food and good music

-Awesome being able to go to Prom with someone who's company you enjoy

Here's how the after party went:

-Went to an after party at my boy's house. Drank and had a good time

-Went to the beach the next day (OCNJ) and enjoyed the sun.

One of my favorite weekends of my life thus far. If you got any questions OP, feel free to ask. I'm really good at this stuff

- I did the yes/no box. (I knew she'd say yes, but she thought it was "cute")
- No.
- No. It was the first time me and my friends had been dressed up together. We weren't about to ruin it with kicks.
 
I skipped Prom junior year and senior year.

My school was cheap as hell had the dance in a damn bingo hall a couple miles away from the school :smh:

lets see. I skipped junior prom, so I was kinda determineed to go to senior. Im kind of an introvert so this was a hard process.

-My friend knew a chick who was willing to go so I asked her and she said yes( this was a big mistake)
- I buy tickets and about a month b4 prom, she vanishes off the face of the earth. Not returning my calls etc. I was pissed
- There was a cute asian girl in my homeroom who flirted with me alot ( i didnt know it, cause I was clueless). she was sctually pretty. So I worked up the courage to ask her.
- She said yes, but turns out she was late wayy to much. So school banned her from going :frown:
- So now Im out of a date. My mom goes behind my back and puts a blast out on facebook :x
- A friend of hers said she had a daughter. yadda yadda yadda she decides to go with me
- turns out shes 5'8 without heels ( im 5'4 :smh: ) so I had a gigantor date
-Prom was ok.

I probably shouldve either went alone and hooked up with a girl who was alone ( actually alot of pretty girls went by themselves) or just asked a random chick and not been scared.

I asked a girl. She said yes then a couple weeks before hand said she couldn't go. I was hella bumbed out. Then a couple days later two different girls asked me. I said yes to the Bulgarian. Had a great time. Had a smaller group. Me my date and 2 buddy's and their dates. Had a hotel party so smashed at my dates house. :pimp:
One of the best weekends of my life for sure.
Everything leading up to it definatly makes it so fun. Took a lot of work
 
originally i was gunna go by myself, but my friends sister wanted me to take her. This other girl wanted me to take her but one of my friends already asked her, she told me she would cancel just to go with me i said na didnt wanna be a douche

my whole team were gunna Un Ds our concords with the tux, but we said when are we ever gunna put on a tux why ruin it with some sneakers. lots of booty grinding unfortunately no yambs were had. after prom was decent. didnt

Had a JR Prom and Senior "Ball" :lol:
Went with my girl to both, and looking back it was mad fun :pimp: Party bus, after party, after-party yambs.

Yup I still remember all the girls suffering from stress anxiety, it was even funner seeing dudes who messed up royally wit their dates like getting the wrong colored tuxes :rofl:

Hughey you better bust your *** for some money and go >: you can easily scrap up a couple hundred bucks for prom..you dont even have to go all out just get a nice tux, like 100 to spend, get a nice lil after prom fit, and ask a relative if you can borrow the whip your good to go :smokin



the girl and I were talking for a minute she wanted me as her date so told her I would go the rest is history

Prom was coo.  Took pictures with my date and 1 with all the homies.

My co-worker ask me if I was goin to prom while batting her eyelashes so I asked her lol.

No yams.  She fell asleep on the couch while we're watching X-Men on VHS (yes I'm old).  No sneakers.

Girl I wanted to take got asked out already. My ex thought I was going to take her to ball.

Ended up going solo dolo.

Danced with other dudes dates.

Got pulled over heading to the after party.

Right when I got to the party cops crashed it.

Night I won't forget.

Prom was meh. I went to a private high school and we HAD to meet at our HS and take a yellow school bus to the prom due to previous drinking & driving deaths in the past. 

As far as asking my prom date, I didn't. She asked me.. and was pretty hot

movie-type simp stuff. to each his own though. if that worked for you then its effective.

junior prom. went with this bad half Dominican/PR joint that I had been dating since I was 15.

ill tux, ill shoes, ill corsage and the waves were spinning abundantly. some cats had some tacky oak tree suits..I've never been the type.

She never wore makeup, but had it done to perfection. Dope black dress, great heels, french pedicure.

Took dozens of pics with her fam and mine.

Shared the Navigator stretch with a few others. Freaked the whole night on the floor. Usher's Yeah was #1 record at the time.

Rented rooms at the hotel with a few friends.

Didn't smash that night. She was a good girl and I later ended up being her first our following senior year.
