Tyga says Cash Money hasn't gave him a check

You dudes are idiots. Tyga has flopped with every album, why would you think that's what he eats off regardless? In the damn interview he explains it himself. He's still putting out albums, they still paying for videos, and he's still maintaining relevancy, on most labels son would've been gotten dropped. The only way he's getting jerked is if he's the one giving checks to Baby, unless he has a 360 he's in a better situation than a majority of artist. Far from some bum off the streets getting raped on a deal, more like a kid using YMCMB to get ahead

Newsflash: No one does in 2013. Certainly not in hip-hop.

Nowadays artists have to earn money through other avenues, which it seems like Tyga has been able to do. Touring, singles, endorsements (he has a deal with Reebok and his own shoe line there), etc. I'm sure Tyga is doing fine. Bow Wow is probably doing alright as well, maybe not as much as of late but he still has money.

If people like Soulja Boy are still getting money, Tyga is probably one of the more successful rappers among those who don't sell.

If Tyga's career was really flopping like that why wouldn't YM just drop him? Obviously he's cool with his current situation, as he said in the video.

Dudes just love to hate. Any time someone even slightly appears to be ahead of them in life, they stand around waiting for something negative about that person so they can latch on to it and post " :rofl: "

Nobody said Tyga wasn't eating . . . it's just that he deserves royalty checks for singles like Rack City, which was huge . . .

And poor album sales don't warrant getting dropped . . . in rap, only Drake, Wayne, Nicki, Kanye, Jay, and Em are moving huge (300K+) numbers like that. MMG and TI are slightly under that in the 100k-300k range. Guys like Kendrick and Rocky sell too. Everyone else not really doing big numbers. It's a single-based industry now.

I think J Cole is over 700,000 copies now. For some reason dude has one of the most loyal fanbase I've ever seen.

Dude bought a 6.5 million dollar house in October..... Seems to be doing pretty good to me. Also drake and future been squashed that ,they were recently just in a picture together working in the studio and Drake was just talkin in a interview about how much of a genius Future is.

but you cant get a Aventador with out having the money up front. When you driving a Aventador off the lot you get a pink slip to go along with it.

Its just like a Bugatti, Enzo, Mcalren F1 type deal

I only seen Kanye, Tyga, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Kobe Bryant, & Cristiano Ronaldo with em

um.... i don't know the specifics of his deal/contract but i'ma assume that any money he could possibly get will be from Universal Records. think of Young Money as promoters and not as an actual record company and Cash Money own YM. Universal is using a part of Tyga's budget to pay YM to promote Tyga.
all in all he's just paying to be affiliated with a recognizable name that'll make fans of YM gravitate towards his brand.
they have no obligation to pay buddy.

but that's just my guess.
 
LOL Lil' Twist. I remember he had 2 singles/videos awhile back and was set to blow. He's 20 and practically finished already. He should just ride his YM contract out while stashing money, then just go away and come back at 25 as a brand new rapper.
